I-80 eastbound lanes east of Lexington have reopened after crash

LEXINGTON, Neb. (KSNB) - A stretch of Interstate 80 eastbound was blocked Sunday evening east of Lexington due to a crash, according to Nebraska 511.

Nebraska 511 reports the closure was on I-80 eastbound between mile markers 249 and 253, about 14 miles east of the Lexington area. Officials said all eastbound lanes were blocked.

The Nebraska 511 update was posted at 5:38 p.m.

All lanes were reported to have been reopened around 8:30 p.m.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes until the roadway reopens.
