3 injured after jumping from moving vehicle in Omaha’s Midtown area

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Three people are injured after an incident in Omaha’s Midtown area early Tuesday.

Emergency crews got a call to 30th and Cuming streets at about 12:30 a.m.

Police tell our First Alert 6 crew on the scene that the driver claimed the brakes went out on their car. The driver, passenger, and a child then jumped from the vehicle.

Officers say all three were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Cuming St. was closed during the investigation, but opened back up after a short time.
