Rusty’s First Alert 6 Forecast: More clouds and much cooler for Tuesday
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The cooler air spilled in all night and we’re starting the day in the 40s. Warming will be quite a struggle today though with the stubborn clouds locked place. Highs in the upper 50s will be the best most of us can do.

Any showers still leftover on the map will be south of the metro near Kansas and Missouri and continue to move out. North wind gusts could hit 20 mph at times later this afternoon.

We’ll likely stay mostly cloudy tonight but enough clearing north of I-80 could lead to patchy frost north of the metro by Wednesday morning.

We’ll try to clear out a few more clouds Wednesday but again will struggle to warm much at all.

A few spotty showers are possible Thursday morning, mostly north of I-80 if they are able to develop. Otherwise sunshine should win out for the afternoon sending us into the 70s.

Mother’s Day weekend is trending towards better rain chances Friday morning and Saturday afternoon. Sunday itself is trending drier and a little warmer. The heaviest rain would likely be Saturday afternoon.
