OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Douglas County Treasurer’s Office has announced a date for 2024′s “real property” delinquent tax sale.

On March 4, the county will sell property belonging to taxpayers owing delinquent taxes for the 2022 tax year or prior who have not paid before that date.

Treasurer John Ewing advises affected taxpayers to call 402-444-7103 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays to pay over the phone or receive a payoff amount, which will include interest.

A check can then be dropped off at any of the office’s dropboxes; or they can pay in person weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Customer Service Center locations listed below. The downtown office is not included.
