Aurora native, former Husker TE Nate Boerkircher drafted in second round of NFL Draft

PITTSBURGH (WOWT) - Former Nebraska Tight End and Aurora native Nate Boerkircher is headed to Florida!
The Texas A&M Aggie was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 56th overall pick in the second round of the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
In his only year in College Station, Boerkircher put up 198 yards and 3 touchdown on 19 catches for the Aggies last season.
As a Husker, Boerkircher had 19 catches for 219 yards and a touchdown in 39 games.
