OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha’s Eppley Airfield will be getting some assistance from the federal government to help repair damage.

A release from FEMA says the Omaha Airport Authority will be getting $318,000 for building exterior, interior, and exterior site repair and replacement.

The damages being repaired stem from damage sustained in the 2024 Arbor Day tornado outbreak, FEMA confirmed with First Alert 6 on Sunday.

These funds come as part of a $400 million package for Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska announced on Friday.
