Flyover Brewing Company grows business, menu in Scottsbluff
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KOLN) - Flyover Brewing Company is approaching its eighth year in business with continued service downtown and growing distribution.
Co-owner Andrea Margheim said the brewery added a new room a couple of years ago during COVID-19.
“It was a touchy time to expand and invest. But we just knew that for more space directly next to us, we couldn’t ask for a better scenario. And so we went for it,” Margheim said.
The addition allows the business to host private events.
“We had a lot of interest in, oh, you know, graduation parties, wedding rehearsals, things like that, that we just really couldn’t accommodate in the dining room,” Margheim said.
The expansion also provided more kitchen space, production space and an expanded canning line.
Flyover Brewing Company now distributes products across Nebraska and into Wyoming. The brewery’s flagship beers are available year-round in cans at some Hy-Vee stores, grocery stores and some bars. The business also offers specialty nitros and barrel-aged beers on draft lines.
The business has added salads, handhelds and weekly lunch specials to its menu.
“People instantly just kind of saw us as a restaurant, even though we didn’t necessarily intend to be a full-service restaurant,” Margheim said.
The brewery is open every day except Monday. Flyover Brewing Company also operates a tap room in Potter in conjunction with Chuckaboo Station, a local coffee shop.
The business is a stop on the 2026 Nebraska Tourism Passport Program, which begins in May.
The name Flyover Brewing Company references flyover country and aviation. Margheim’s husband and the business co-owner are private pilots.
