Nebraska rallies past Creighton, earns first series win vs. rival since 2017

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska erased a 4-run deficit to secure its first series win over Creighton since 2017. The Huskers were powered by Drew Grego’s 3-hit night, which included a 2-run home run. J’Shawn Unger closed out the game on the mound for Nebraska (28-9). The sophomore right-handed pitcher tossed two shutout innings while allowing just one hit.

Nebraska defeated its in-state rival 6-5 two weeks ago.

The Huskers return to action on Friday with a 6:05 p.m. game against USC.
