Greg Abel releases first shareholder letter as Berkshire Hathaway CEO

New CEO thanks Warren Buffett, pledges to keep company culture intact

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Greg Abel released his first letter to shareholders as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway on Saturday.

In the 20-page letter, Abel thanks Warren Buffett for his guidance and promises to continue operating Berkshire Hathaway strong.

Abel said he hopes to make the company stronger 20 years from now, and that Berkshire’s culture and values will remain unchanged and continue in perpetuity.

The annual shareholders meeting in Omaha is scheduled for May 2.
