ICE gives update on those detained in South Omaha operation

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) gave an update on those detained on Tuesday’s operation in South Omaha Saturday night.

In their update, ICE says three people who were here illegally from Mexico voluntarily returned to their home country.

Officials also say three other people in the country illegally from Guatemala were transferred to Louisiana where they’ll wait for their “future removal.”

Those needing assistance from the consulate for El Salvador can call 402-502-1030.

Those needing assistance from the Guatemalan consulate can call 531-910-0236. If it’s an emergency, call 531-999-0083.
