OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Here’s list of activities and events coming up in the Omaha metro the weekend of May 9-11:

There are a plethora of Mother’s Day events happening around the metro this weekend.

A Mother’s Day Market is being held at Regency Shopping Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with local pop-up vendors, giveaways, a photo booth, and a free workout class.

Trucks and Taps is hosting their second annual Mother’s Day Sip and Shop event with local businesses, food trucks, live music, and libations from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 5402 S 108th St.

Coffee Alley - Callejon del Cafe in Ralston at 7310 Harrison St. is hosting a Señora brunch event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday with a live DJ and photo wall.

If you’re wanting some friendly competition, Smash Park in La Vista is holding a Mother’s Day Brunch and Bingo event on Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon. The bingo is free with prizes up for grabs, and mimosas available for purchase.

Other brunch options on Sunday with specialty Mother’s Day menu items include: Nick’s Quorum, Omaha Marriott Downtown, and Kona Grill.

  • The Cinco de Mayo festival in South Omaha, Friday through Sunday along 24th St.
  • The Omaha Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Old Market, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in Aksarben Village
  • Black Fae Day at Miller Park Pavilion presented by Omaha’s House of Afros, Capes, & Curls from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday
  • Live music at the Blackstone District’s 2nd Saturday event at various spots in the area
