Quiet but cold this evening as we continue to dig out from record snow. A few more flurries tonight, but sunshine is in the forecast!

First Alert Update: Snow continues across the metro, but much lighter than earlier this evening! We may pick up another 1-2" of snow bringing our totals to the 8-12" range for many. Many roads likely remain slick or snow packed through the morning commute!

Steady light to moderate snow continue around the metro with a band of very heavy snow just to our south. That band is where we are most likely to see a foot or more of snow! Still expecting snow amounts in the range of 7-11" around the metro this evening!

Snowfall rates look highest in the Metro from mid-morning through late-afternoon. Rates could reach 1″ to 2″ per hour during this timeframe, especially along and south of I-80!

FIRST ALERT DAY: Tracking a strong storm system that will bring us heavy snow Monday! Increasing from south to north Monday morning, with the heaviest rates midday through the afternoon hours. More than a foot of snow possible in spots! Gusts up to 35 mph.

Good Sunday Morning! Quiet today, with highs around the freezing mark. Moisture will start to move in overnight, with snow really picking up by mid-morning Monday. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for areas along & south of I-80 Monday. Here, 6 to 12 inches of snow are possible.
