WOWT 6 News spoke with the sister of 45-year-old Jesus Marinero Thursday morning, who said the body found Wednesday night is that of Jesus. "My sister is dead. No one knows about the boy."
One of Jesus' sons, 5-year-old Josue Ramirez-Marinero remains missing. He was last seen being picked up by his mother from a day care at 10th and Martha in Omaha around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Josue's brother, 11-month-old Angel Ramirez-Marinero, was found okay Wednesday evening in a La Vista dumpster.
Police have yet to confirm the identity of the woman found in the area of South 4th and Cedar streets, just north of Lauritzen Gardens.
Angel was found in a dumpster at the Alpine Village Apartments in La Vista Wednesday evening.
Police reports show several burglaries reported at the home of Jesus between January and April and a fire believed to have been arson that destroyed the home near South 18th and Dorcas streets on April 22nd.
Officers have identified a vehicle in connection to this investigation, a silver 2000 Jeep Cherokee Laredo with the Nebraska license plate SRH 941.
The vehicle was located Thursday afternoon at 2119 Arbor.
