Sixth best linebacker in the nation announces he'll be a Husker

LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) -- One of the best linebackers in the nation has announced that he will be a Husker.

Avery Roberts announced on Thursday that he will attend the University of Nebraska next year. In a tweet, Roberts said, "Extremely blessed to announce I will be attending THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA!!! #GBR"

Roberts is rated as a four-star linebacker out of Wilmington, Delaware. He's ranked as the sixth best linebacker in the nation and joins Keyshawn Johnson Jr. and Tristan Gebbia as the third four-star recruit for Nebraska in the past two weeks.

The 6'1", 215 pound linebacker chose the Huskers over Penn State, where he just visited.
