Third round tickets for the NCAA Tournament are a hot commodity.

On Saturday Omaha's Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority (MECA) announced that all tickets were sold out.

Tickets initially sold out in February shortly after they went on sale. MECA workers were waiting on tournament teams to turn tickets back in that were not being used, however, they didn't receive a single ticket meaning no more went on sale.

A number of ticket resale websites are still offering tickets for a higher price.

Stubhub lists the cheapest ticket available for Sunday's games as $225/piece. The most expensive tickets are listed for $1,760/piece.
