Man Severely Burned In Blair Explosion

The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating an apparent explosion in a Blair subdivision.

It happened around 7 p.m. Monday in the Deerfield subdivision, near Crestridge Drive and Soren Drive.

Officers say they arrived to find a 53-year-old man suffering from burns to his head, arms, legs and torso. Officers and neighbors put out a fire in the garage and attended to the victim.

The victim was flown to Nebraska Medical Center by medical helicopter.
