Junkstock is back this weekend by popular demand for a fourth year.

The farm fresh event boasts over 170 junk vendors from 20 states, 22 hours of live-music by 19 bands, 18 food trucks, and a free Kids Zone complete with pony rides, petting zoo, and bounce houses. Organizers say Junkstock is the place to be for vintage finds, unique antiques, and one of a kind re-purposed goods!

Due to recent rain and muddy fields, free shuttle buses have been set up. Carpooling is encouraged and parking is currently only at Metropolitan Community College - Elkhorn Valley Campus (829 N 204th St. Elkhorn, NE 68022) and Elkhorn South High School (20303 Blue Sage Pkwy Omaha, NE 68130). These free shuttles are first come first served and will run every 30 minutes. Shuttles run Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Those with special needs can be dropped off on the farm.

“We are super excited to be back for our seventh event with even more grooviness than the last,” Sara Alexander, Founder of Junkstock said. “We are proud to support youth vendors this year too with three vendors ages 15, 16 and 19! We have also brought in even more activities for the Kids Village, more food trucks and more parking this summer as well. We’re also excited to offer offer Early Bird Tickets that are your backstage pass to shop Junkstock two hours before the general public along with other special perks.”

This year’s free Kids Village is bigger than ever and will offers pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, balloon twisting, a sand pit, kids crafts, along with surprise guests and more. The band line up from across the U.S. includes: Brad Hoshaw, Justin Johnson, Matt Cox Band, Ray Michael, Justin Johnson, Burkum Boys, All Girls Are Machine Guns, Evan Bartels & the Stoney Lonesomes, Bazile Mills, Bonehart Flannigan, The Bottle Tops, Clarence Tilton, McCarthy Trenching, Rex Granite Band featuring Sarah Benck, Kris Lager Band, The High Crest, The Electroliners, Talbott Brothers, and Polka Police.

The pet friendly event is $6 online or at the gate per day or $15 for the whole weekend. Early Bird passes are also available for $25 that get you in two hours early Friday with a $5 voucher towards a Junkstock shirt. Admission for children 12 and younger remains free. The farm is located just South of Dodge St. at 315 South 192nd Street and is open Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Look for the aquamarine VW bus off of 192nd Street.
