All the power of the vote without a trip to the polls: the Douglas County West Community School District will hold a special bond election on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 and it will be handled through the mail.
This means that no polling places will be available on Election Day.
Here’s how it works. All ballots will be mailed beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
All voted ballots must be returned to the Douglas County Election Commission office or one of its ballot drop boxes no later than Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.
Drop boxes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; no postage is needed on ballots placed in a drop box. Drop box locations are as follows:
