The Occupy Wall Street protest made its way to the streets of Omaha on Sunday.
Dozens gathered throughout the day at the intersection of 72nd of Dodge to demonstrate against corporate greed. “I really don't think government speaks for the people anymore,” said Victoria Portillo. “It speaks for the big corporations, etc. “I want my voice back."
The local demonstration was part of a larger, national movement. Protesters have been sitting-in at Wall Street in New York City for 23 days now.
