A second straight home loss in Big East play means Creighton has work to do with just four league games remaining.

Marquette scored 12 points on five possessions to start each half Saturday night in a 90-86 comeback win at the CenturyLink Center. Despite leading by 12, the Jays dropped a second straight conference game for only the first time this season.

"That's unacceptable," coach Greg McDermott said. "To give up 49 points on our home floor in 32 possessions the second half is a joke."

The Jays sit 8-6 in the league, good for a tie for third with Providence.
