COLUMBUS, Ohio (WOWT) - The Nebraska Husker football team attempted so upset eighth ranked Ohio State on Saturday.

The Buckeyes matched Nebraska's two touchdowns in the third quarter, bringing the score to 30 to 21 for the fourth quarter.

The Huskers tried to close the gap in the fourth quarter. They ended up scoring 10 points, but Ohio State scored six of their own.

The final score was 36 to 31 and Ohio State got the win. They advance to eight and one this season. The Huskers are now two and seven.

Husker quarterback Adrian Martinez passed for 266 yards during the game. He ran the ball 72 yards and scored one touchdown.

Nebraska will play Illinois at home next Saturday.
