LA Chargers Talk About Drafting Easton Stick

On Saturday the Los Angeles Chargers drafted NDSU quarterback Easton Stick. Head Coach Anthony Lynn and General Manager Tom Telesco spoke on why they chose the Omaha native in the fifth round.

General Manager Tom Telesco:

"Yeah, he's a quarterback that we really liked and dialed in on. Brought him in for a visit pretty late in the process so our coaches could spend some more time with him. He's a fifth round draft pick, but when you look at his production in college, his toughness, his leadership, his intangibles are off the charts. He's a great athlete too as far as moving around."

Head Coach Anthony Lynn:

"He's a sharp player, he can create when he wants to. I like him a lot, I think he's a good prospect and he'll have a chance to compete."
