Huskers lose last minute

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Huskers faced the Northwestern Wildcats Saturday morning in Illinois, hoping to earn their first win.

The Huskers held on for most of the game, looking like they would be victorious.

In the last minute of regulation play, Northwestern tied the game at 31.

In overtime, Northwestern scored, winning 34 to 31 over the Huskers.

The team addressed the media after the game, and talked about how they should have won. Head Coach Scott Frost was disappointed in their last minute loss.
