Huskers look for strong finish

LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) -- The Huskers are looking for a strong finish to the season as a springboard to loftier goals.

Despite the loss to Ohio State last weekend, Nebraska saw continued development.

"We're getting closer and closer every time we go out," Head Coach Scott Frost said Monday but that only goes so far. Program building blocks don't show up on the scoreboard. Frost said, "We've had some great moral victories this year and those don't count for anything."

Nebraska hosts Illinois Saturday with a kickoff set for 11 a.m. The Huskers will wear "Memorial Tribute" alternate uniforms for the game.
