LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - The Huskers managed to earn their second win of the season playing the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats at Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

The team had an easier time getting the victory over the FCS team than they did against Minnesota the week before.

Nebraska struck early, scoring 28 points in the first quarter alone. BCU could only score three to start.

In the second quarter Nebraska scored 10 more points, giving them a solid advantage going into the half.

Both teams scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter. BCU was still behind, giving the Huskers the win with a final score of 45 to nine.

Head Coach Scott Frost said he was proud of the work his team put in during practice the past week. He said they still need to work on penalties, but he was satisfied with the win.

The Huskers take on Ohio State next Saturday at 11 a.m.
