Drew Brown will play in the East-West Shrine game on Saturday in St. Peterburg, Florida. The former Nebraska Placekicker connected on 12 -of-14 field goals last season and was honorable mention All-Big Ten. He was the fourth leading scorer in Nebraska History. Brown will visit the Shriner's Hospital, before he plays in the all-star game.
Brown said: "Its a tremendous honor I think the first day we get there we go visit the Shriner hospital down there in St. Petersburg and we get to interact with a bunch of families who are stuck in a hospital and it means a lot to me we did that a lot here at Nebraska I loved every single minute of it. But for football sake you are probably with a group of guys who are very very talented and just look back at the past rosters it's it's a lot of really really good names on that list, hopefully I can perform to the best of my ability and leave myself into contention and hopefully get my shot."
