Woman arrested after hitting husband with snow globe

A Council Bluffs woman is facing an aggravated domestic abuse charge after hitting her husband with a snow globe. Police said Jennifer Evens, 35, was booked Thursday morning.

Officers responded to the couple’s home around 5:30 a.m. Jennifer and her husband had been fighting when, according to police, Jennifer struck him with a snow globe.

According to reports, the snow globe broke on impact. Police said Jennifer struck her husband again with the broken snow globe causing some superficial lacerations.

Jennifer was booked on aggravated domestic abuse and willful injury. The victim was transported to Creighton Medical Center for treatment.
