OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- Omaha Police have resumed responding to minor, property damage accidents following an Accident Alert issued earlier Thursday.
A number of collisions were reported as wintry weather returned to the metro. Roads are slick in places. Temperatures are in the single digits.
The major metro school districts were open Thursday but several rural Iowa schools had delayed starts.
Our 6 News crews found metro streets passable but you are urged to use caution.
In addition to the snowy dustings that continued through morning, temperatures were in the single digits and we're not going to see any relief over the next 24 hours.
A Wind Chill Advisory is in place from noon Thursday through noon Friday.
