Winter and spring team up to host a cold, wet Friday

As the seasons continue their tumbling collisions across the Midwest we're getting a mixed bag Friday and the bag is cold and wet.

The Nebraska State Patrol is giving us a glimpse of conditions to our west and the conditions are full of snow.

The metro isn't expecting what they were getting out there Friday morning but we are anticipating rain with snow mixed in Friday evening as temperatures remain on the chilly side.

If you are traveling, law enforcement reminds you to use caution. Keep your headlights on and if you're heading west remember that wintry conditions are not letting go in spite of what the calendar says about where the seasons belong.
