OMAHA, Neb. A 25-year-old man is dead after being stabbed multiple times near 13th St. and Center St.

Sunday night, friends and family of Dylan Kenney grieved and sent hope that his killer is caught.

"Find who did this,” said Dylan Kenney’s sister, Elyse Kenney.

Elyse Kenney, called out for Omaha police to find the person that killed her brother or for his killer to come forward.

"Make sure that we can assure this doesn't happen anymore because I'm tired of hearing people dying,” said Kenney.

Friends and family lined the sidewalk near the very spot where Kenney was murdered hours earlier.

"He never had any hate in his heart, so the fact that something like this happened that was so doesn't make sense to me,” said Dylan Kenney’s friend, Benjamin Hutchison.

Police discovered Kenney lying in the street early Sunday morning with what were considered "extremely critical" stab wounds.

Medics rushed him to the hospital, but Kenney died there from his injuries.

"When I got the news I was almost numb,” said Hutchison.

Those who loved Dylane Kenney raised balloons and lit candles remembering the man they once called a brother and a friend.

"It's overwhelming. He touched a lot of people,” said Hutchison.

"He was loved very much,” said Elyse Kenney.

They prayed that he's resting easy and that his killer is brought to justice soon.

"I know Dylan wouldn't want us to be crying, but he was a great man. He deserves a tear or so," said Hutchison.

Omaha Crimestoppers are offering $25,000 for a tip that leads to the arrest of Kenney’s killer.
