A burning RV on Interstate 80 near the 13th Street exit snarled traffic Friday afternoon.
Videos show the RV fire in the westbound lane caused heavy smoke in the area. Troopers closed the inside westbound lane of I-80 near 13th Street. Fire rigs blocked some eastbound traffic.
Thick black smoke was seen from some distance away. Council Bluffs Fire Department was requested to assist.
A gutted shell of the RV was left after the flames were extinguished. The RV belonged to The Blake Camp Band. The band responded to fans on their Facebook page saying no one on the bus was injured.
The fire remains under investigation.
