A San Francisco Bay Area zoo is inoculating its big cats, bears and ferrets against the coronavirus as part of a national effort to protect animal species using an experimental vaccine.
“Kids come up with all sorts of things to make. It gives them a chance to think what their country means to them and what freedom means,” said Bob Perran, parade creator.
Mostly sunny and hazy for the holiday weekend, with highs heating into the 90s each day. Just a slight chance for a storm Sunday and Monday evenings, though most should stay dry.
A group of Omaha Public Schools students have spent part of their summer break gaining classroom teaching experience through the “Next Level Learning” student internship program.
