Two suspects wanted for Crescent bank heist

Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects wanted for a bank heist.

Deputies received an alarm from the American National Bank in Crescent Tuesday morning. Witnesses told investigators two masked men demanded money. Deputies learned the suspects left the bank in a silver Chevrolet Tahoe.

That vehicle was later found abandoned by the Omaha Police Department. WOWT 6 News has learned the Tahoe was stolen in a carjacking earlier Tuesday from 37th and Orchard Ave. The victim said she felt thankful

The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are continuing to investigate the incident.
