The numbers aren't official yet but the unofficial count says lots of people participated in the 2018 mid-term election.
More than 56 percent of Nebraska's registered voters cast a ballot. That's about 12 percent higher than the 2014 mid-terms.
Douglas County saw 54 percent of voters turn out while Sarpy County had a 60 percent turnout.
In Iowa, higher numbers still with 61 percent statewide. Pottawattamie County tallied 52 percent.
