OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Snow covered roads caused a few slowdowns Sunday morning.
Interstate 80 was closed around 8 a.m. due to a semi being jackknifed near Highway 370.
The trailer stretched across multiple lanes of traffic, bringing travel to a halt in that area.
Omaha police reported a cruiser working a crash was struck by an out-of-control vehicle.
Please use caution this morning. An #OPD officer was out of his cruiser working an accident at 120 & EB Dodge when a vehicle lost control and struck the cruiser from behind. The roads are slick & the crews are working hard to clear them, but you need to slow down & be careful! pic.twitter.com/cgkTSBcE2Q— Omaha Police Dept (@OmahaPolice) February 10, 2019
Roads seemed to be better cleared as Sunday moved into the afternoon hours.
