Omaha City Council members vote Tuesday on whether to impose the city's restaurant tax on food trucks.

Currently, food trucks and other mobile food vendors are exempt from paying the 2.5 percent restaurant tax. If the proposed ordinance passes, that exemption would be repealed.

A public hearing will also be held concerning demolition of a former riverfront business. The proposal comes after the city ended its lease with the Storz Trophy Room last October when the owner got behind on rent and taxes. The demolition comes with a $139,000 price tag.
