Omar Antunez is being held on $750,000 bond for a shooting last week. He was arrested earlier this week by the Gang Unit and Metro Fugitive Task Force.
Police say that on Friday, September 9, Antunez walked up to a car and shot Giavana Carrillo, 28, three times. That happened near 22nd and Poppleton around 10 p.m.
The bullet went through Carrillo's foot. The victim is recovering.
Antunez, who already has a Second Degree Assault conviction, could face a sentence of up to 100 years in the shooting.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled in October.
