There are a few flurries and sprinkles on the radar heading into the evening, especially north of the metro. Those will fade with the setting sun and the clouds will do the same overnight. Winds will decrease and we'll drop into the upper 20s by morning.
After that chilly start, we'll warm fairly quickly into the lower 50s by Saturday afternoon. A light northwest breeze may add a bit of a chill to the air but overall a good Saturday is ahead. Skies will slowly become partly cloudy during the afternoon, especially southeast of the metro. Those heading to Lincoln for the Husker Spring will be a few degrees warmer in the afternoon making for a great day to watch football!
More sunshine is expected Sunday as we again warm into the 50s. Even warmer days are ahead to start the week with highs in the 70s Monday and Tuesday before another storm system rolls in midweek.
