Rusty's Evening Forecast - A couple of rain chances over Mother's Day weekend
Skies will become partly cloudy tonight as temperatures slowly cool from an otherwise beautiful day. Lows will fall into the mid 40s by Saturday morning.
After that cool start Saturday, we'll have a south wind at 10-20 mph gusting to 25 mph that will help us reach the mid 60s once again. A cold front is set to move Saturday evening giving us an 80% chance of showers and a couple of storms after 6pm. Nothing is expected to be severe but some brief downpours are possible for some. Those will fade into the overnight leaving us with a dry start to Mother's Day.
That dry Mother's Day morning will be a little cool with temps starting off in the mid 40s and steadily try to climb into the 50s by brunch time. The morning hours should stay dry but a few pop up showers and an isolated storm are possible in the afternoon. Northwest winds will gust to 30 mph as well. Not a perfect Mother's Day but not a washout at all.
Next week will be warmer with highs in the 70s and 80s.
