OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- Work on a particularly battered piece of pavement in the metro — perhaps known best from a local driver's video that went viral last month — is expected to be wrapped up soon.
The stretch of 144th Street, from U to Q streets, was one of the early trouble spots as the potholes blossomed this season:
City officials say the fix began the week of March 18, and it's now in the finishing stages.
On Tuesday, April 16, city officials said expected the work to be finished late this week or early next.
Correction: Due to a source error, an earlier version of this story contained the wrong dates for the start and expected completion of this project.
