Post Office locations and routes affected by flooding

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Several United State Postal Service post offices and mail routes have been affected by flooding.

Several offices that were closed on Thursday have reopened if it is safe to do so, and mail routes have resumed where it is safe.

Below is an updated list of locations as of Friday at 1:35 p.m.:

  • Ericson: Office reopened
  • Norfolk: Office reopened and delivery resumed where possible
  • Elba: Office reopened
  • Missouri Valley: All operations resumed
  • Pleasanton: Office reopened but customers may pick up mail at Ravenna if roads are impassable
  • Valley: Operations suspended
  • North Bend: Operations suspended
  • Cedar Creek: Operations suspended
  • Schuyler: Operations suspended
  • Nickerson: Operations suspended
  • Osmond: Operations suspended
  • St. Edward: Operations suspended
  • Dannebrog: Operations suspended
  • Verdigre: Operations suspended
  • Winslow: Operations suspended
  • Staplehurt: Operations suspended
  • Niobrara: Operations suspended
  • Spencer: Operations suspended
