Police locate third party believed targeted in attempted kidnappings

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- Omaha Police have located the third person they believe had been targeted by two men arrested for attempted kidnapping.

Robert Williams and Antonio Johnson were quickly arrested after failing in two alleged kidnapping attempts on May 4th.

Police later said they believed that a third person may have also been approached that day.

According to a police report, a girl had been chased while riding her bicycle east on Blondo between 69th and 67th streets.

On Wednesday, police identified that girl. She told investigators that she believed the suspects were chasing her to try to get her into their vehicle.

Both Williams and Johnson were ordered held on $10 million bond in connection with the two initial incidents that day. Police say they had initially approached a teenaged girl at a convenience store. Authorities say they then allegedly grabbed a 5-year-old girl from the front yard of a home near 66th and Blondo but the suspects were quickly arrested.
