Police investigating overnight shooting

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha police are investigating a shooting that happened near 36th and Lake early Saturday morning.

According to police, a ShotSpotter activation happened in the area just before 3 a.m.

Officers arrived to be told by witnesses that people in a silver vehicle may have shot at a white truck.

The victim arrived on his own at CUMC - University Campus. He was identified as Shadow Harlan, 18, and transferred to CUMC-Bergan.

Police say the victim's injuries are not life threatening.
