OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A porch pirate who was posing as a door-to-door salesman has been identified and cited for misdemeanor theft.
Noelle Clarke, 23, posed as someone selling cleaning services. She was really checking out houses to see if anyone was home so she could take packages off of porches.
A video taken from a Ring doorbell showed Clarke first knocking with sales items, then returning later to steal the package and jump in a waiting car.
The items in the packages that was stolen were not valued high enough to constitute a felony charge.
There has been no word on whether the driver of the getaway car has been identified.
