One person injured, cited in interstate crash

One person was cited after a single-vehicle crash at the Interstate 80 and Interstate 480 interchange.

OPD was called to the crash at 3 p.m. where they discovered a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on I-480 when it lost control, crossed two lanes and went off the roadway to hit a tree.

The driver was taken to the hospital by medics but was also cited for negligent driving, driving under suspension and no proof of insurance.

He was identified as 51-year-old Darin Levi of Omaha.
