An Omaha group known as the Coalition to Protect OKD Miners, better known as The Coalition organized a protest to try and save miners in the Czech Republic from homelessness.
The organizers say a European businessman bought OKD Mining for a fraction of its value.
The Coalition says because of this coal miners were impacted and it left thousands of people homeless.
The organizer of the rally said he wants to shed light on the situation.
"Were hoping that maybe we can just inform Berkshire Hathaway, maybe get Warren Buffet himself to notice what's going on and maybe he can help make things right."
Berkshire Hathaway is business partners with one of the banks the businessman used to finance the purchase.
