June 17 COVID-19 update: 86 new cases, 1 new death in Douglas County
Here is a summary of new cases and other COVID-19 stats reported Wednesday by health officials across Nebraska & Iowa.
The Three Rivers Public Health Department has reported 3 new COVID-19 related deaths.
Two of the cases were a man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s who both had underlying health conditions and lived in Dodge County. A woman in her 80s who lived in Saunders County also died.
The total number of deaths in the district has reached 11.
Dodge County has a total of 642 cases, Saunders County has 60, and Washington has 41.
Lancaster County has confirmed 24 new cases of COVID-19. The number of deaths remains at 10.
The community total number of cases is at 1,545.
The Pottawattamie County Public Health Department confirms 13 new COVID-19 cases.
Two of the individuals are from Treynor, and the rest are from Council Bluffs.
Pott. County now has a total of 589 cases.
The Douglas County Health Department reports 86 new cases Wednesday and an additional death.
This brings the total case count in the county to 6,026.
The additional death was a man over 70-years-old with underlying conditions.
DCHD reports 2,049 recoveries.
