OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It's time for area pet owners to renew their pet licenses.
The deadline for licensing pets in Omaha and Sarpy Counties is March 15. In order to renew those licenses, pets have to have up do date records.
Pets must have an up to date rabies vaccination. February 10th is the next low cost shot clinic and it will be at the Sherman Community Center. Those shots will range from $5 to $10.
Pets that are not spayed or neutered cost double to license. Veterinarians or the Nebraska Humane Society can perform spay and neuter services.
There is a $5 processing fee for pet licensing. That fee is waived if owners license at NHS by January 31st.
