BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT)-- A popular jerky company has decided to not reopen a metro plant that was damaged in the Heartland flood.

The Jack Link's plant sits just east of OFFUTT Air Force Base in Bellevue.

A spokesperson for Jack Link's says the company did extensive testing of the facility before making the decision.

The Nebraska Labor Department says about 60 people worked at the Bellevue plant.
