Mallory's Forecast - Scattered Showers and Storms Wednesday

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - After a dry and warm start to the workweek, a cold front will swing through this afternoon and bring some changes!

To start, it’s a very mild start to Wednesday. We’re waking up to temperatures in the 60s – much closer to our normal highs for this time of year! We’ll hit a high temperature in the low-70s early this afternoon, before the aforementioned front moves through and cools us down for the late afternoon and evening.

Grab the rain gear as you head out the door! Scattered showers and thundershowers remain possible this morning and afternoon, primarily before 3 PM in the Omaha Metro. The good news? The severe weather threat looks to stay off to our south and east.

Partly cloudy and breezy conditions are on tap tonight, with lows dropping down into the 40s.

Mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies Thursday, with cooler temperatures in the 50s. A few spotty rain showers are possible in the afternoon hours Thursday, with conditions remaining windy. Gusts up to 35 mph.

Sunshine returns in full Friday, with seasonable highs in the mid-60s. We warm up greatly Saturday, with highs near 80° under mostly sunny skies! More clouds move in for Easter Sunday, with scattered showers possible by the afternoon and evening. We’ll continue to keep an eye on that forecast for your holiday plans!
